Dropping into Helton

A lovely little scene, yet again from one of our walks in the lowther Valley, this lesser known valley nestled between the Lake district mountains and the Eden Valley Pennines is a real delight with a variety of scenery, from dales to river woodlands, moors and fells this valley has it all. 

This scene is set after leaving the open fell with its Neolithic stone circles and artifacts and dropping back down into typical dales country side above  the little hamlet of Helton.
